Now come on. You might dislike Sarah Palin's socially conservative positions, but she did in fact get there on her own. She's not related to anyone, she's not rich, she didn't sleep with anyone -- she got there on her own and we owe her that debt of gratitude, even if we disagree with her on all other points.
I am actually a social conservative. I signed up as a member of the Republican party on my 18th birthday (man that was already FOUR elections ago, yikes). I am pro-life, a fiscal conservative, and favor small government -- all that good stuff.
My problem, in a nutshell, is that I think that Palin (same goes for W) has done more harm than good for my Grand Old Party. And for THAT, she must be mocked.
And since I am being honest here . . . I also make a point of making fun of anyone who I think is smarter, more attractive, or successful than I am. I like to cast a broad net.
